Massive Mushroom ("we," "us," or "our") builds and operates apps, games, websites, and support pages. This Privacy Policy explains the kinds of information we may process, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Our apps are designed to collect as little personal information as practical. Data practices may vary by app and by the features you choose to use.
1. Scope
This policy applies to Massive Mushroom apps and games, including Supermarket Scramble, MyAstralys, TapSpark, and Goal Pacer, as well as our website, support pages, and communications with you.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on the app or service, we may process the following categories of information:
- Information you provide, such as support emails, feedback, bug reports, names or email addresses you choose to include, and information entered into an app feature.
- App content stored on your device, such as game progress, preferences, goals, journal entries, mood logs, or other app-specific content.
- Purchase and subscription information handled by Apple when you buy, subscribe, restore purchases, or request a refund through the App Store.
- Diagnostics and crash information, such as crash logs, performance data, device model, operating system version, and app version, if provided by Apple or diagnostic tools.
- Analytics or usage information, such as feature usage, session events, and aggregate performance signals, if an app integrates analytics in the future.
- Website information, such as basic server logs, browser type, IP address, and pages visited, when you access our website or support pages.
- Platform or cloud service information, such as iCloud, Game Center, or other Apple platform services, when an app uses those services and you have them enabled.
3. App-Specific Practices
The table below summarizes current intended public practices. We update this table as apps ship or change.
| App | Current data posture | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Supermarket Scramble | Game progress, preferences, and gameplay state are expected to be stored locally on the device. App Store purchases, if any, are handled by Apple. | Public App Store listing is pending. We will update this policy if analytics, cloud sync, Game Center, or purchases are added. |
| MyAstralys | App-entered personal content may include birth data, compatibility entries, mood logs, and journal entries. Some features may use subscriptions or platform services. | Existing MyAstralys-specific legal URLs remain available for compatibility, but this page is the canonical studio policy going forward. |
| TapSpark | Designed for minimal collection. Parent settings, category preferences, progress, and session settings may be stored locally on the device. | Any child-directed data practice changes must be reviewed before release and reflected here. |
| Goal Pacer | Goal names, schedules, check-ins, preferences, and notification settings may be stored locally or through platform services if enabled. | We will update this policy if account sync, analytics, or cloud features are added. |
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide and operate app features.
- Save preferences, progress, and settings.
- Respond to support requests and bug reports.
- Process purchases, subscriptions, and refunds through Apple or another platform provider.
- Improve reliability, performance, and usability.
- Comply with legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or App Store requirements.
5. Apple and Third-Party Services
Apps distributed through Apple's App Store may rely on Apple for downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, crash reporting, TestFlight, Game Center, iCloud, or other platform services. Massive Mushroom does not receive your full payment card details from Apple.
If an app uses third-party analytics, crash reporting, cloud services, or other SDKs, we will update this policy and the relevant App Store privacy responses to describe those practices.
6. Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only when needed to operate our apps and services, communicate with you, comply with law, protect our rights, or work with platform/service providers such as Apple.
7. Retention and Deletion
Information stored locally in an app generally remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. Support emails and related communications may be retained as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and improve support.
If you want to request access, correction, or deletion of information we may hold about you, contact us at support@massivemushroom.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
8. Children and Families
Some Massive Mushroom apps may be intended for families or children. We aim to minimize data collection in those apps. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a way that requires parental consent and we do not have that consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Users
Massive Mushroom is based in the United States. If you use our apps or website from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our apps or services after a policy update means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
